Birthday card for my friend

I wanted to share this card I made for my friends
birthday. I love the distressed look of this card. It's fun to play around with different techniques sometimes and just see what comes together from it. Until next time...

Retiring and retired card stock!

All of my card stock has been traded. I will have more goodies as soon as I go through my ribbons, stamps, eyelets ect!
I have a TON of Designer Series papers that I would love to find a new home for as well!
Last night, I sat on the floor for several hours going through my tubs of card stock. Re-organizing them and taking out all the card stock that will be retiring at the end of this month. And boy do I have quite the stack of it! So, I thought that I would list what I have and how many sheets of each I have. I would like to make trades this month for other card stock that wont be retiring. Next month, I will be happy to sell the card stock out right.
Please contact me through my email at stampmomx2sc@comporium.net if you would like to work out some trades with me. Ok, here goes!
Side note.....
Card stock is first come first serve. First person to make a deal with me on the card stock gets it! I need to move this card stock out to make room for the awesome new colors coming! I can't wait to get them!

Neutral on Neutral

I was challenged to come up with a card that was either white on white or mainly neutral colors. This is what I came up with! I used the butterfly sizzlet, some very vanilla card stock, Manhattan Flower embossing folder , Bella Bleu Designer series paper and very vanilla satin ribbon. I am pretty pleased with the outcome.

Until next time,

Thank you!

I wanted to share a card I made this week. It is one of several that I made. They are all very similar with the sentiment being the only thing that changes. This card happens to be a thank you card but I also did a card that said congratulations. It could say just about anything you like. It could even have your own personal hand written message if you like. This is the card that my girls at club will be making at the next meeting. I love the little butterflies that I made using the embosslit from Stampin' Up! They are adorable. And the flowers at the top are made using the flower punch from the trio punch set which is in the current mini catalog. If you go back and look at yesterdays card, you will see the circle punch from that same set of punches. It is an adorable little set of punches that have tons and tons of uses!
Thanks for visiting with me today.
Until next time....

Graduation time

It's that time of year! When all the years of hard work all come to an end in one very special day.

Graduation day!

Although my children are moving from middle school to high school and from elementary school to middle school, I don't actually have one graduating from High school. I do however, have several Friends with children or should I say, Young adults who are graduating. So, I thought I would share a card that I made for one of them. Today's card is made for a fellow bearcat! The colors are garnet, black and gold and Stampin' Up! had colors to make the perfect card! This is actually a tri fold card. The third fold is on the inside and holds the money. If I would have had my head on straight when I took the picture of this card, I would have opened it and took a second picture. Sorry!

I hope you enjoy today's post!

Until next time...
