Neutral colors card

Each month at club, we make some sort of themed card. This month is was "neutral colors".
Well, since one of my favorite card stock colors right now is "crumb cake" I decided to use that for my base.
I also have been wanting to make a card with a different or unusual fold so I did a tri fold card.

You can see here how the card opens. The left side of the card is bigger than the right side. I did this intentionally. I thought it would give it an unusual look.

For the tree leaves... I stamped them first in River Rock and then a second time with Cajun craze. I used the stamp a majig to off set the leaves just slightly. I loved the effect it gave.
I finished the card up with some white dots and dashes for added dimension!
I hope you enjoy the card.. it sure was fun to make!
Until next time....

Club project for October

I wanted to share with you this adorable little box that I had my girls make at club this month! It was so super simple to make! As a matter of fact, one of my ladies brought her 12 year old daughter to club and she was able to easily make this treat!

The pumpkin is made using the large oval punch and a hand cut stem for the top. You could quickly make up a bunch of these for the kids class mates or even for your co-workers

The second picture shows the treat box open and what is found inside of it. Chocolate and stamping... in my opinion... go hand and hand!

Until next time,

Stamp Till You Cramp!

I know its been quite a while since my last blog post. I apologize for that. I really have no excuse other than life gets in the way sometimes. Hopefully, I can start posting more often. I wont make any promises as to how often, but I will at least try to do it more than once a month!
Now, onto today's post!

A few weekends ago, I had a wonderful group of ladies gather together to do something that we all love to do! STAMP TILL WE CRAMP!
There was lots of laughter, good food and of course, lots and lots of stamping going on!

I prepared two projects for everyone to do and then they had the rest of the day and lots of room to do what ever their stamping hearts desired!

The first project was a Holiday planner. It's a great organizer to help you get ready for the upcoming holidays.

The outside was decorated with some holiday designer series paper and Satin ribbon.

The inside is where all the action is though!

Here you will find three calendars, October, November and December along with a place to make lists of things to do during those months.

I also included Gift lists

and Christmas card lists. After all, we are stampers and we need to know exactly who we have sent cards to and who we still need to send cards to.... RIGHT?! And finally, I included two envelopes * also decorated with some designer series papers*. These are for storing receipts of gifts that we have purchased. Cause you KNOW, something is gonna be the wrong size or color or something. So we need those receipts after the holidays so we can return stuff!

Tie it all up with a pretty bow and take it with you where ever you go and you will be organized and well prepared! No sweat!

The second project we did was this sweet little box. Inside, you will find several tags to add to those wonderful gifts that you will be handing out this season!

So, now that I have showed you the projects that we did at the
Stamp till you cramp, I thought I would show you some of the girls
having fun! This first picture is of sweet sweet Joey! She always has a smile on her face!

Mmmmm, look at all that yummy food we had. You can't see it all but for lunch, we had home made bar b que pork and cole slaw! It was sooo yummy!

If you look close, you will see the home make german chocolate cake there on the counter!
Uh huh, thats right! And it was GOOOOOOD!

Im not real sure what was going on in this picture. With Donna, you can never really tell! She is always doing something funny! But she keeps us all on our toes and keeps us laughing!

Cheryl was our birthday girl.... hense the chocolate cake! *thanks to my girl Wendy for making it for us!
Hmmm, Cheryl looks like she is very hard at work doesn't she! Good thing she enjoys what she does! lol

Awww, the three amigos!
Me and my Sister and my girl Wendy.... Looks like trouble for sure~
*someone could have told me I was having a bad hair day! lol

So now you have seen the projects, you have seen the girls in action..... Don't you want to join us for the next Stamp till you cramp? Well, you can!
Just email or call me! I have the next one planned for December 4th. If you are in the area and would like to come play with us, you are more than welcome! There is ALWAYS room for one more!
Until next time,
