Chalkboard technique!
This was a fun card to make! I love the colors and normally, I am a brights or subtles kinda girl, but these colors just appealed to me for this card!
The sets I used are Summer Silhouettes (126447) and Vintage Verses which is a free set with
$50.00 purchase during Sale a bration! I also used Comfort Cafe designer series paper (126898) Again, not my usual color pallet but LOVE this pack of paper!
I am going to TRY to do a video on this technique and get it posted as soon as possible so be watching for it!  I have such a hard time editing the videos (computer stoopid) so I tend to not make them as often as I really would like to.
Anyway! Have a great day and until next time,

 Pretty In Pink!
This is one of the cards that my club girls did this month! Sadly, one of the sets I used was in the winter mini and is not available currently. The second set I used was the Everything Eleanor set.(124164)  I also used the Hearts collection framelets (123599) and adorning accents (125595)  to create the scallop edge along the bottom of the card.
Then I used a white gel pen (105021) to accent the bottom of the card. Big bang for the buck when done on black card stock.
The card stock used for this card is Pretty in pink, basic black and whisper white. I also used Black staz on ink and pretty in pink ink.

Have a great day!
until next time,

Happy Valentines Day!

Remember the video I did a week or so ago? Well, this is the project that those cute little rose buds went on. I used the petal cone die  to make this cute little valentine pouch. Instead of folding on the score lines, I left it flat which conveniently made a cute little heart. Put two of them together and you have a pouch! Fill it with your favorite treat and give it to someone you love!
Here is a close up of the rose buds. I used a jewel brad to hold the bottom rose bud together.. hence the shine and shimmer!  I also added a little lace ribbon for the hanger and used the beautiful butterfly embosslit to add a few finishing touches!

Valentines monkey!
It seems that just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas and now all of a sudden, we are making Valentines cards. When I was younger, people used to tell me how fast time would go by when I had kids. Of course, I didn't believe them... but as I now have a 16 and almost 14 year old I am starting to realize that time really does fly!
Anyway, my mother in law came over today with a print out of a card she found online. She asked me to help her make it for her newest grandchild. As it happens, the monkey on the original card was female with lots of pink and bows. Since her newest grandchild is a boy, we tweaked the card a bit and made our monkey a boy! He turned out really cute.
Now for the lesson that this card teaches... Always make sure to clean your stamps well when you are finished using them! Otherwise, you may end up with a two toned image like this heart here. Evidently when I finished making my valentines treats last week, I didn't clean my stamp as good as I thought I did and it still had a bit of pink ink on it. THIS time, it actually worked out ok. lol
As a side note, this monkey was created using all Stampin' Up! Circle, oval and heart punches! Enjoy!
until next time,

Thank You!
Each month, I try to make a thank you card for each customer who places an order. This month, I thought it would be sweet (get it? lol) if I made each girl a little treat. So these are the some of the treats that I made.

It was super hard not to eat the M&M's but I was a good girl and MOST of them made it
into the treat bags!
I hope my customers enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!
Until next time,
