Valentines monkey!
It seems that just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas and now all of a sudden, we are making Valentines cards. When I was younger, people used to tell me how fast time would go by when I had kids. Of course, I didn't believe them... but as I now have a 16 and almost 14 year old I am starting to realize that time really does fly!
Anyway, my mother in law came over today with a print out of a card she found online. She asked me to help her make it for her newest grandchild. As it happens, the monkey on the original card was female with lots of pink and bows. Since her newest grandchild is a boy, we tweaked the card a bit and made our monkey a boy! He turned out really cute.
Now for the lesson that this card teaches... Always make sure to clean your stamps well when you are finished using them! Otherwise, you may end up with a two toned image like this heart here. Evidently when I finished making my valentines treats last week, I didn't clean my stamp as good as I thought I did and it still had a bit of pink ink on it. THIS time, it actually worked out ok. lol
As a side note, this monkey was created using all Stampin' Up! Circle, oval and heart punches! Enjoy!
until next time,

Thank You!
Each month, I try to make a thank you card for each customer who places an order. This month, I thought it would be sweet (get it? lol) if I made each girl a little treat. So these are the some of the treats that I made.

It was super hard not to eat the M&M's but I was a good girl and MOST of them made it
into the treat bags!
I hope my customers enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!
Until next time,

MIA

Happy New Year!
With a new year comes new goals. I resolved this year not to make any resolutions. lol So, instead, I am setting new goals for myself and in this case, my business.
I am not making any promises here but I will say that I am going to do my best to try and post to my blog more often.  I truly have missed posting and sharing my creativity with all of you!
I have several blog posts planned for the next couple of days. I even have a tutorial planned.
I would love to hear from you, tell me what you would like to see on my blog... what type of projects do you want to see? Do you want more tutorials?
For now, I will spend the day trying to get the banners updated so bare with me. But check back often to see what new goodies are posted!
Thanks for your patience!

Another Fathers day card!
This is card number two in the Masculine card series. I am using the same stamp set and designer series paper.  Now that the new catalog is up and running, I will be able to find some new designer series papers to play with!

On the inside, I made sure to leave enough room for a special message to dad!

 Happy Fathers Day!

I have been working on several fathers day cards recently and some masculine birthday birthday cards as well. So here is the first in a series of several.
The designer series paper  that I used in this card sadly is no longer available but the set that I used can be found in our brand new shiny 2012 - 2013 Stampin' Up! catalog. It is called "The Open Sea". (123032 on page 104)

Again, I have been trying to do give my cards some interest on the inside to pull it all together. I have really been enjoying the challenge of tying the whole thing together!
Until next time,
