A little Treat for someone so sweet!

I have some of the best customers! But what makes my customers so special is that many of them are also my friends! I wanted to do something special for them since it is Christmas time!
So, I baked some cookies and packaged them up and made some cute little toppers for them.
I think they add just a little bit of fun to a bag of cookies!

I hope my customers/friends know how much they mean to me! With out them, I wouldn't be doing what I am doing! I love getting together with them and hopefully teaching them some new and fun things!
Stamping is constantly changing and sometimes, I even learn a thing or two from my customers! They are all so talented and special! I look forward to many more years of service to them!

Merry Christmas Friends!

Until next time,

Little Ghirardelli gift holders

Aren't these little treat holders just the cutest! Hopefully none of my friends that I am going to dinner with on Tuesday evening will see this blog posting. lol These are little gifts that I made for them for our gift exchange. They hold 2 Ghirardelli chocolates. Yum!

My sister needed a gift card holder so I made some for her as well. These were made using the little envelope dye that Stampin' Up! Sells for the big shot. All I did was lay a credit card on it and scored new lines for the folds on the sides. and then I put two of them together. How easy!

I used some scrap designer series paper that I had left over from last weekends Stamp till you cramp to decorate the front and used the medium oval punch to make a little handle.
Remember stampers, never throw those scraps out! you never know when it will come in handy!

I finished it up with some Old Olive ribbon... note to self, gotta get some more of that! Don't you just LOVE Stampin' Up! Ribbon! I know I do!

Until next time stampers,

Stamp Till You Cramp!

Well, It was time for a Christmas Stamp till you cramp and that is exactly what happened!
Do these three gals look happy? Well of course they do! And why? you might ask.... well because they are holding up their first ever completed cards! That's right! I had three stampin newbies at my stamp till you cramp! And they all did wonderful! Way to go girls!

More smiling faces! Rose, Cheryl and Yulia join me for a quick picture and then it was right back to work for them! I am a task master I tell you! No time for fun and games at my events! Just kidding... look at those smiles! Beautiful inside and out!

A quick lunch break! Some home made veggie soup was just what the stamping doctor ordered. Looks like some pretty serious conversation doesn't it?!

Now, how did you do that again? Wendy, Priscilla, Kim and Crickett sure are looking at something pretty intensely!

Ahhhhh, my girls Deidre and Michelle! Deirdre brought me a pair of those antlers with bells on... every time I talked or moved my head I could hear ringing in my ears. I took the antlers off, but I could still hear the ringing.... hmmmmm lol

Edwina's turn to show everyone a little something. As you can see, Donna is paying close attention. NOT! LOL

Lucille and Rhonda, these two were hard at work and barely came up for air!

Kim and Crickett studying those directions and doing an excellent job! You would never know that they are new stampers!

I hope everyone had as much fun at the stamp till you cramp as I did! I'm looking forward to the next one! I hope you are too!
Until next time,

Christmas card with a treat!

I have seen so many of these treat cards on the Internet lately that I thought, I have just got to try one for myself. All the cards that I have seen so far have had the treat portion on the left but I thought it would be cool to make it with the treat portion on the right. The card was very easy to make.. actually easier than I thought it would be!
This is one card that I for one would love to get.. I mean, who doesn't love a little chocolate with their cards!

Neutral colors card

Each month at club, we make some sort of themed card. This month is was "neutral colors".
Well, since one of my favorite card stock colors right now is "crumb cake" I decided to use that for my base.
I also have been wanting to make a card with a different or unusual fold so I did a tri fold card.

You can see here how the card opens. The left side of the card is bigger than the right side. I did this intentionally. I thought it would give it an unusual look.

For the tree leaves... I stamped them first in River Rock and then a second time with Cajun craze. I used the stamp a majig to off set the leaves just slightly. I loved the effect it gave.
I finished the card up with some white dots and dashes for added dimension!
I hope you enjoy the card.. it sure was fun to make!
Until next time....

Club project for October

I wanted to share with you this adorable little box that I had my girls make at club this month! It was so super simple to make! As a matter of fact, one of my ladies brought her 12 year old daughter to club and she was able to easily make this treat!

The pumpkin is made using the large oval punch and a hand cut stem for the top. You could quickly make up a bunch of these for the kids class mates or even for your co-workers

The second picture shows the treat box open and what is found inside of it. Chocolate and stamping... in my opinion... go hand and hand!

Until next time,

Stamp Till You Cramp!

I know its been quite a while since my last blog post. I apologize for that. I really have no excuse other than life gets in the way sometimes. Hopefully, I can start posting more often. I wont make any promises as to how often, but I will at least try to do it more than once a month!
Now, onto today's post!

A few weekends ago, I had a wonderful group of ladies gather together to do something that we all love to do! STAMP TILL WE CRAMP!
There was lots of laughter, good food and of course, lots and lots of stamping going on!

I prepared two projects for everyone to do and then they had the rest of the day and lots of room to do what ever their stamping hearts desired!

The first project was a Holiday planner. It's a great organizer to help you get ready for the upcoming holidays.

The outside was decorated with some holiday designer series paper and Satin ribbon.

The inside is where all the action is though!

Here you will find three calendars, October, November and December along with a place to make lists of things to do during those months.

I also included Gift lists

and Christmas card lists. After all, we are stampers and we need to know exactly who we have sent cards to and who we still need to send cards to.... RIGHT?! And finally, I included two envelopes * also decorated with some designer series papers*. These are for storing receipts of gifts that we have purchased. Cause you KNOW, something is gonna be the wrong size or color or something. So we need those receipts after the holidays so we can return stuff!

Tie it all up with a pretty bow and take it with you where ever you go and you will be organized and well prepared! No sweat!

The second project we did was this sweet little box. Inside, you will find several tags to add to those wonderful gifts that you will be handing out this season!

So, now that I have showed you the projects that we did at the
Stamp till you cramp, I thought I would show you some of the girls
having fun! This first picture is of sweet sweet Joey! She always has a smile on her face!

Mmmmm, look at all that yummy food we had. You can't see it all but for lunch, we had home made bar b que pork and cole slaw! It was sooo yummy!

If you look close, you will see the home make german chocolate cake there on the counter!
Uh huh, thats right! And it was GOOOOOOD!

Im not real sure what was going on in this picture. With Donna, you can never really tell! She is always doing something funny! But she keeps us all on our toes and keeps us laughing!

Cheryl was our birthday girl.... hense the chocolate cake! *thanks to my girl Wendy for making it for us!
Hmmm, Cheryl looks like she is very hard at work doesn't she! Good thing she enjoys what she does! lol

Awww, the three amigos!
Me and my Sister and my girl Wendy.... Looks like trouble for sure~
*someone could have told me I was having a bad hair day! lol

So now you have seen the projects, you have seen the girls in action..... Don't you want to join us for the next Stamp till you cramp? Well, you can!
Just email or call me! I have the next one planned for December 4th. If you are in the area and would like to come play with us, you are more than welcome! There is ALWAYS room for one more!
Until next time,

Club project

For August club project, I thought it would be cute to do some mini cards!
These little cards are great for adding to a gift or just tucking into that someone specials lunch box.

They would also make a great gift! To keep the cards all together, I made a little "match book" holder.

Three cards fit perfectly into it! I even "popped" up a layer using stampin dimentionals.

I chose to make the mini cards three different
colors but you could certainly make them all
exactly the same or even use different stamp
sets for each card. For example, you could make
a pack of cards with a "happy birthday, get well and thinking of you" card in it! Or a Halloween, Christmas and Valentine card.
The possibilities are endless!

This final picture shows the three cards and the holder from a side angle so that you can see better how the holder is made.

If you have any questions about this project, please feel free to leave a comment! I will answer it as quickly as I can!
Thanks for looking and until next time....

color charts

This is the project that I did with my club girls Tuesday night! It is a color chart for them to keep with them and mark off as they acquire all the new colors! The chart is adhered to the inside of the cover. The front has three color families and the back has the other two. You can see in the picture both the front and back of the chart.
Thanks to a fellow demo for taking the time to create the chart! It will not only come in handy for my customers, but for me as well!
Have a great day and until next time....

I just set up mobile uploads. This is just a test to see if it works.

The day has finally arrived!

Yeap, that's right! Stampin' Up!'s newest catalog has gone live as of today!
I have to say that this is one of the nicest catalogs and probably my favorite
in quite some time! I can't wait to start ordering from it and getting all the new
goodies that Stampin' Up! has to offer. My wish list is already a mile long!
And the new colors!! Can I just tell you! I was in Florida on vacation when my
down line (and friend) called me and said... You are not going to believe this but Stampin'
Up! is retiring about 30 colors. I was floored and a little more than a bit upset!
But seeing all the new colors and getting my hands on some of them already... that sadness
to see the colors that I have come to love so much go away lifted... A LOT!

I for one do not like change but in this case... I have to say, Change is good!
Click on the link in my side bar to view the new catalog if you have not had the opportunity
to get your hands on a hard copy of it. Feel free to contact me if you would like to purchase
a catalog from me! It is definitely worth the investment!
Until next time friends....

I have a TON of Designer Series papers that I would love to find a new home for as well!

Neutral on Neutral

I was challenged to come up with a card that was either white on white or mainly neutral colors. This is what I came up with! I used the butterfly sizzlet, some very vanilla card stock, Manhattan Flower embossing folder , Bella Bleu Designer series paper and very vanilla satin ribbon. I am pretty pleased with the outcome.

Thank you!

I wanted to share a card I made this week. It is one of several that I made. They are all very similar with the sentiment being the only thing that changes. This card happens to be a thank you card but I also did a card that said congratulations. It could say just about anything you like. It could even have your own personal hand written message if you like. This is the card that my girls at club will be making at the next meeting. I love the little butterflies that I made using the embosslit from Stampin' Up! They are adorable. And the flowers at the top are made using the flower punch from the trio punch set which is in the current mini catalog. If you go back and look at yesterdays card, you will see the circle punch from that same set of punches. It is an adorable little set of punches that have tons and tons of uses!
Thanks for visiting with me today.
Until next time....

Graduation time

It's that time of year! When all the years of hard work all come to an end in one very special day.

Graduation day!

Although my children are moving from middle school to high school and from elementary school to middle school, I don't actually have one graduating from High school. I do however, have several Friends with children or should I say, Young adults who are graduating. So, I thought I would share a card that I made for one of them. Today's card is made for a fellow bearcat! The colors are garnet, black and gold and Stampin' Up! had colors to make the perfect card! This is actually a tri fold card. The third fold is on the inside and holds the money. If I would have had my head on straight when I took the picture of this card, I would have opened it and took a second picture. Sorry!

I hope you enjoy today's post!

Until next time...

Tutorial for Desk top caddy

Thank you everyone that emailed me with all your sweet comments about my desk top caddy.

Many of you asked for a tutorial so here it is!

I thought that I would share my inspiration with you. So here is the "real" organizer next to my card stock organizer! As you can see... mine is MUCH smaller than the original but I guess you could tweak the measurements to make a larger organizer if you like!

Part 1 of Caddy

Step 1:

card stock is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.

with the 8 1/2 inch side at the bottom, score at 1 and 7 1/2 inches. Rotate once and score at 2 1/4 and 3 1/4.

Step 2:

Cut on score lines as shown.

Add red line tape to front two flaps.

You can't see it in this picture but you will also want to add tape to the back of the little flaps as well.

Step 3:

Assemble box and set aside for time being.

Part 2 of Caddy

Step 1:

card stock is 10 1/2 x 7 inches

With 10 1/2 inch side at bottom, score at 2 and 8 1/2 inches.

Rotate card stock one time as score at 2 inches.

Step 2:

Create the diagonal side.

Using a ruler, measure 4 1/4 inches from bottom of card stock on both sides. Draw a pencil line from score line to 4 1/4 inch mark. Cut on this line and remove tab.

cut on score lines from bottom of card stock up to the 2 inch score line.

Step 3:

Add red line tape to back of flaps as shown. Assemble bottom of caddy.

Step 4:

Add red line tape down both sides and across the bottom edge of caddy.

Step 5:

CAREFULLY place part one of caddy on the bottom edge of part 2 of caddy. When you have all three edges lined up, press firmly to adhere together.

Step 6:

Complete your caddy by scoring a 10x1 inch piece of card stock at 3, 5 and 7 inches. Add adhesive to inside mountain and insert into front half of caddy to make divider.

This is what your finished caddy will look like before you decorate it!

Thank you again for your interest in my caddy.
If you make one of your own, please let me know. Maybe I will feature your caddy on my blog!

Also be watching... I am going to be playing around with this pattern to see what else I can come up with!

Until then, have a great stamping day and...

GO GET YOUR FINGERS INKY!
